Booking pages
A booking page lets a client pick a time with your office from a link, with no back and forth. Each booking calendar you create in Calendar Manager has its own public page, its own hours and its own confirmations and reminders.
Create a booking page
Open Calendar Manager
Calendar Manager is in the menu. Press Create Calendar.
Name it and choose how it meets
Give it a name and purpose, and choose whether it meets in person or by video.
Set the scheduling rules
The default length, the buffer between meetings, the minimum notice in hours, how many days ahead a client may book, and the time zone.
Set the hours
The hours you take appointments on each day of the week.
Brand the page
Your colour, logo, page title and subtitle, and a readable booking address.
Choose who it books
Once the calendar is saved, open Staff and links, tick the staff it should book, and make a personal link for anyone who needs one.
Turn it on and share it
Turn on Public Booking Page and Calendar Active, then copy the booking link from the calendar's card.
What a booking does
| The client | Sees the open times and the length of the appointment, gives their name and contact details, and is told they are booked. |
|---|---|
| The confirmation | An email to the client, from a message you can edit. A video booking includes its meeting link. |
| The reminder | An email 1, 2, 24 or 48 hours before, as set on the calendar, sent only inside the hours your office allows. |
| Your records | The booking creates or updates the contact and puts the appointment on the calendar, with the contact type and lead source you chose. |
Questions
Can we have more than one booking page?
Yes. Each booking calendar has its own page, hours and messages, so you can have one for first consultations and another for document reviews.
Who gets the booking when several staff are on a calendar?
The calendar's own link offers a time when anyone on it is free and books whoever of them has waited longest for a booking. A personal link always books only that person.
Can two clients book the same time?
No. If two people pick the same time with the same person, the second is asked to choose another time.
Can we stop taking bookings for a while?
Yes. Turn off Calendar Active on that calendar. While it is off, no new bookings can be made.
Can we block times we are busy elsewhere?
Yes. Connect your outside calendar in Calendar Manager and turn on Block Busy Times From Connected Calendars, so those times are not offered.
